WELCOME to the School Administrators of Iowa Mentoring Program (SAIMP) for school leaders, particularly associate superintendents and assistant principals. We are pleased that you are here! SAIMP provides assistance to Iowa administrators new to the positions of associate superintendent and assistant principal, as well as other school leaders. By participating in this mentoring experience, you will have a greater understanding of many of the principles which support the improvement of student learning, gain confidence in the process of professional performance review, and be in a favorable position to prosper and flourish in your new leadership position. Created in collaboration with School Administrators of Iowa, The Wallace Foundation, and founded on solid research from the field, the SAIMP resources are designed to assist you in your continuous development as a school administrator. We give a sincere and large THANK YOU to the Administrator Mentor Program of Missouri. AMP has served as a resource for developing many areas of our program, especially their rich, documented library of resources and their unique, user-friendly approach via technology.* To begin the program, click on “Module 1” below.
